Overall

Oh, ARGH! What a run! This loop goes all over the place, but is a great excuse to "run to the Post Office"--literally! I also trekked this one with my hubby, Josh, and it really is a great mix of up and down. The lack of sidewalks is a concern, though. It's a bitch to run through a parking lot or on a severly sloped grass embankment. Why don't they have sidewalks here? And what do people in wheelchairs do in this case? I wonder.

Anyway, the loop goes from the corner of East Roanoke Street and Harding Ave. southwest towards North Main Street. From there, I hooked a right and headed northwest until I hit Prices Fork Road. Swinging left and heading westward until University City Blvd. crosses my path, I then took a right and went north up the hill towards the Post Office. I passed the post office and keep going until Toms Creek Road intersected. From there I followed Toms Creek Road southeast until it crossed with Prices Fork again and then I just went gold for home!

I Googled it: 500 Harding Ave. to 909 University City Blvd. (2 mi) to 600 Toms Creek Rd. (.7 mi) to 1200 Toms Creek/Prices Fork Rd. (.7 mi) to 500 Harding Ave. (1.1 mi). Total miles: 4.5 miles.
