2nd NRVBA Road Time Trial

This looks interesting … a small, local event and a good way to gauge my progess. Well, let’s just hope this won’t be humiliating should I decide to do it. Sixteen miles is about 6 miles longer than I’m used to for a TT. And it’s kinda’ rolling. Hmmmmm …

2nd NRVBA Road Time Trial

The second in the NRVBA Road Time Trial Series will be held on Sunday July 23rd at 4:00pm. The start and finish will be at Gateway Baptist Church at the bottom of Harding Rd. near the intersection with Lusters Gate Rd. The course will be an out-and-back on Catawba Rd. (Rt. 785). There will be a turn-around at 8.1 miles (at the concrete bridge just past McDonalds Mill and just before the Roanoke County line), so the total distance will be 16.2 miles.

This is for current NRVBA members only, and all levels of riders are encourged to enter. If you are not a member, go to www.nrvbike.com, to join. Applications with club dues will be accepted at the time trial.
